Quectel EC25-EUX

The Quectel EC25-EUX is an LTE Cat 4 module optimized for M2M and IoT applications, delivering maximum data rates of 150 Mbps downlink and 50 Mbps uplink. Designed for the EMEA and Thailand regions, this module supports LTE-FDD bands B1/3/7/8/20/28A and LTE-TDD bands B38/40/41, along with WCDMA B1/8 and GSM/EDGE B3/8 for backward compatibility in areas without 4G or 3G coverage.

The module measures 29.0 × 32.0 × 2.4 mm in a compact LCC package and operates in temperatures from -35°C to +75°C, with extended temperature range support from -40°C to +85°C. It features optional multi-constellation GNSS supporting GPS, GLONASS, BDS, Galileo, and QZSS for accurate positioning capabilities.

The EC25-EUX provides comprehensive connectivity through multiple interfaces including USB 2.0, dual UART, I2C, SGMII, dual ADC, and single SDIO. It supports digital audio via PCM interface and offers voice capabilities with HR/FR/EFR/AMR/AMR-WB codec modes, echo cancellation, noise suppression, and optional VoLTE functionality.

Power efficiency is optimized with typical consumption of 9.0 μA in power-off mode, 0.9 mA in sleep mode, and 14.5 mA in idle mode, operating from a 3.3-4.3V supply (3.8V typical). The module includes extensive driver support for Windows 7/8/8.1/10/11, Linux 2.6-6.5, and Android 4.x-13.x operating systems, with USB serial, NDIS, MBIM, GobiNet, and QMI_WWAN drivers available.

Enhanced features include DTMF, DFOTA, QMI/RmNet, QuecLocator, QuecFile, SIM card detection, SMS support, and optional eSIM capability. The module holds certifications from Global GCF, CE, UKCA, NCC, and RCM regulatory bodies, along with carrier approvals from Vodafone and Deutsche Telekom, ensuring broad compatibility for deployment across European and Asia-Pacific markets.
