u-blox SARA-G310

The u-blox SARA-G310 is a cost-optimized quad-band GSM/GPRS data module designed for high-volume, cost-sensitive M2M applications. This compact module measures just 16.0 x 26.0 x 3.0 mm in an LGA form factor and weighs less than 5 grams, making it ideal for space-constrained designs.

Operating across GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz bands for global connectivity, the SARA-G310 provides reliable GPRS Class 10 data communication with speeds up to 85.6 kb/s. The module features extremely low power consumption with idle mode current below 0.9 mA (with external 32 kHz signal) or below 5.0 mA without external signal, and less than 250 mA during connected mode.

The SARA-G310 offers essential "bit pipe" GSM/GPRS functionalities with two UART interfaces - one for data and AT commands, another for tracing and firmware updates. It supports both 1.8V and 3V SIM cards and includes SMS capabilities with MT/MO Text/PDU modes. The module operates reliably across an extended temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, making it suitable for demanding environmental conditions.

Manufactured in ISO/TS 16949 certified production sites and qualified according to ISO 16750 standards for automotive applications, the SARA-G310 ensures high quality and reliability.
