Telit UC864-E

The UC864-E is a 3.5G wireless data module designed for full compatibility with Telit's GSM/GPRS and CDMA products in a compact, unified form factor. This ultra-compact module measures just 30 x 36.2 x 4.8 mm and weighs 10 grams, making it ideal for medium-to-high-volume M2M applications and mobile data and computing devices.

Featuring a single-band 2100MHz UMTS/HSDPA radio optimized for the European market, the UC864-E delivers HSDPA download speeds up to 7.2 Mbps and upload speeds up to 384 kbps. The module maintains full backward compatibility with EDGE and GSM/GPRS networks through its quad-band EGSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz support, ensuring reliable connectivity across different network technologies.

The UC864-E operates in an extended temperature range from -30°C to +80°C, with storage temperatures from -40°C to +85°C, making it suitable for demanding environmental conditions. Power efficiency is optimized with idle current consumption as low as 3.3 mA in GSM mode and 4.1 mA in UMTS mode, while maintaining excellent RF performance with sensitivity down to -108.2 dBm for WCDMA.

The module offers comprehensive connectivity through its 80-pin Molex connector, including USB 2.0 full speed interface, UART serial link, 22 GPIOs, 3 analog-to-digital converters, and 1 digital-to-analog converter. Additional features include integrated TCP/IP and UDP protocol support, voice and SMS capabilities, and support for Premium FOTA Management enabling over-the-air firmware updates. The UC864-E is CE and GCF certified and complies with RoHS directives for environmental protection.
