Quectel EG800Q-NA

The Quectel EG800Q-NA is an LTE Cat 1 bis module specifically optimized for M2M and IoT applications in North America. Built on 3GPP Rel-14 LTE technology, this module delivers data rates up to 10 Mbps downlink and 5 Mbps uplink, providing reliable connectivity for a wide range of industrial applications.

Measuring just 17.7 × 15.8 × 2.4 mm and weighing approximately 2.0 grams, the EG800Q-NA features a compact LGA package design that simplifies integration into space-constrained devices. The module operates on LTE-FDD bands B2, B4, B5, B12, B13, and B66, ensuring broad network compatibility across North American carriers.

The module offers comprehensive connectivity through multiple interfaces including USB 2.0 high speed, three UART ports (Main, Debug, and Auxiliary), digital audio (PCM), I2C, and dual ADC channels. It supports an extensive suite of Internet protocols including TCP/UDP, HTTP/HTTPS, FTP/FTPS, SSL, MQTT, and PPP, enabling versatile application development.

Operating within a temperature range of -35°C to +75°C (with extended range support from -40°C to +85°C), the EG800Q-NA is built for demanding environments. The module features ultra-low power consumption with just 50 μA in power-off mode and 4.50 mA in idle mode with USB disconnected, making it ideal for battery-powered applications.

Enhanced features include DFOTA (Delta Firmware Over-The-Air) for remote firmware updates, Wi-Fi scanning capability, and USIM card detection. The module comes with comprehensive driver support for Windows 8.1/10/11, Linux 2.6-6.7, and Android 4.x-13.x operating systems, along with Quectel Enhanced AT Commands for simplified control.
