Quectel EG18-NA

The Quectel EG18-NA is an LTE Category 18 module optimized for M2M and IoT applications, delivering high-speed connectivity with download speeds up to 1.2 Gbps and upload speeds up to 150 Mbps using 3GPP Release 12 LTE technology. Designed specifically for North American markets, this module supports major carriers including Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, and U.S. Cellular.

Built in a compact LGA package measuring 37.0 × 39.5 × 2.8 mm, the EG18-NA ensures compatibility with Quectel's EG06 and EG12 series modules, enabling seamless product upgrades. The module operates reliably across a temperature range of -30°C to +70°C, with extended temperature support from -40°C to +85°C.

The EG18-NA features advanced capabilities including 5× carrier aggregation, 256 QAM, and 4×4 MIMO technology for enhanced data rates and link reliability. It incorporates Qualcomm IZat location technology with multi-constellation GNSS support (GPS, GLONASS, BDS, Galileo, and QZSS) as an optional feature, providing accurate positioning capabilities.

With comprehensive interface options including USB 3.0/PCIe, UART, SPI, I2C, and multiple GPIO pins, the module supports diverse connectivity requirements. It offers Voice over LTE (VoLTE) capability, DFOTA for remote firmware updates, and includes extensive driver support for Windows, Linux, and Android operating systems.

The EG18-NA holds PTCRB, FCC, and IC certifications, making it suitable for deployment in business routers, home gateways, industrial laptops, rugged tablets, and video transmission systems throughout North America.
