Quectel EM060K-GL

The Quectel EM060K-GL is an LTE Advanced Category 6 M.2 module designed for global market coverage. Based on 3GPP Release 12 technology, it delivers theoretical peak data rates of 300 Mbps downlink and 50 Mbps uplink. The module measures 30.0 × 42.0 × 2.3 mm and weighs 6.2g, featuring the M.2 form factor with Key-B interface.

Operating across a temperature range of -25°C to +75°C (with extended range support from -40°C to +85°C), the EM060K-GL provides comprehensive frequency band coverage including LTE-FDD, LTE-TDD, and UMTS/WCDMA bands for worldwide connectivity. It supports downlink 2-carrier aggregation with 64QAM modulation and includes an integrated multi-constellation GNSS receiver supporting GPS, GLONASS, BDS, Galileo, and QZSS for precise positioning capabilities.

The module offers versatile connectivity through USB 2.0/3.0 and optional PCIe Gen2 interfaces, along with dual SIM support (1.8V/3.0V) featuring DSSS (Dual SIM Single Standby) functionality. An optional built-in eSIM provides additional flexibility for deployment. With 2×2 MIMO technology for enhanced data rates and link reliability, the EM060K-GL operates on a 3.135-4.4V power supply (typical 3.7V) and maintains Class 3 transmitting power (23 dBm ±2 dB) across supported bands.

The module is compatible with Quectel's extensive portfolio including EM06, EM12-G, EM120K-GL, EM121R-GL, EM120R-GL, EM160R-GL, and 5G RM500Q/RM502Q series modules, facilitating seamless migration paths. It supports comprehensive protocols including QMI, MBIM, NITZ, HTTP/HTTPS, FTP, LwM2M, and PING, making it suitable for industrial routers, home gateways, set-top boxes, industrial and consumer laptops, PDAs, rugged tablets, and digital signage applications.
