Quectel EG065K-NA

The Quectel EG065K-NA is an LTE-A Category 6 LGA module optimized for M2M and IoT applications, delivering data speeds of up to 300 Mbps downlink and 75 Mbps uplink using 3GPP Release 12 LTE technology. Designed specifically for the North American market, this compact module measures 28.0 × 31.0 × 2.4 mm and weighs approximately 5.3 grams.

The module supports LTE-FDD bands B2/B4/B5/B7/B12/B13/B14/B25/B26/B30/B66, providing comprehensive coverage for North American carriers. It features LTE-A carrier aggregation and MIMO technology (DL 2×2, DL 4×2) for enhanced data rates and link reliability. The EG065K-NA operates within a temperature range of -30°C to +75°C, with extended temperature support from -40°C to +85°C.

Equipped with multiple interfaces including dual (U)SIM slots, dual UART, USB 2.0/3.0, SDIO, and GPIO, the module offers flexible connectivity options for various applications. It supports rich internet protocols including QMI, MBIM, NITZ, HTTP/HTTPS, and FTP, along with USB drivers for Windows 7/8/8.1/10/11, Linux (2.6-5.18), and Android (4.x-12.x) operating systems.

The EG065K-NA features ultra-low power consumption with 26 μA in power-off mode, 3.1 mA in sleep mode (PF=128), and 12.8 mA in idle mode. Operating on a supply voltage range of 3.3-4.5V (typical 3.8V), it delivers Class 3 output power of 23.5 dBm ±2 dB for most bands and 22.3 dBm ±2 dB for B30.

Additional features include DFOTA support, (U)SIM detection, eCall capability, and optional VoLTE support for digital audio and voice over LTE. The module is ideal for applications such as police body cameras, routers, MiFis, home gateways, set-top boxes, PDAs, tablet PCs, video surveillance, and digital signage systems.
