Quectel EG065K-EA

The Quectel EG065K-EA is an LTE-A Category 6 LGA module optimized for M2M and IoT applications, delivering data speeds of up to 300 Mbps downlink and 75 Mbps uplink using 3GPP Release 12 LTE technology. Designed for Europe and Latin America markets, this compact module measures 28.0 × 31.0 × 2.4 mm and weighs approximately 5.3g.

The module supports LTE-FDD bands B1/B2/B3/B4/B5/B7/B8/B20/B28, LTE-TDD band B40, and WCDMA bands B1/B2/B3/B4/B5/B8, providing comprehensive regional coverage. It features LTE-A carrier aggregation and MIMO technology (DL 2×2, DL 4×2) for enhanced data rates and link reliability. The EG065K-EA also supports HSPA+ with speeds up to 42 Mbps downlink and 5.76 Mbps uplink.

Operating within a temperature range of -30°C to +75°C (with extended range of -40°C to +85°C), the module offers multiple interfaces including dual (U)SIM, dual UART, USB 2.0/3.0, PCIe, SDIO, and GPIO connections. It supports various protocols including QMI, MBIM, HTTP/HTTPS, FTP, and features USB drivers for Windows 7/8/8.1/10/11, Linux (2.6-5.18), and Android (4.x-12.x).

The EG065K-EA operates on a 3.3-4.5V power supply with ultra-low power consumption, drawing only 26 μA in power-off mode and 2.7 mA in sleep mode. Additional features include DFOTA support, eCall functionality, (U)SIM detection, and optional VoLTE support. The module holds GCF and CE certifications, making it suitable for applications such as routers, home gateways, video surveillance systems, digital signage, and various IoT deployments.
