Quectel EG060K-NA

The Quectel EG060K-NA is an LTE-Advanced Cat 6 module optimized for M2M and IoT applications in North America. Built on 3GPP Rel-12 LTE technology, it delivers peak data rates of 300 Mbps downlink and 50 Mbps uplink, enabling high-speed connectivity for demanding applications.

Designed in a compact LGA form factor measuring 37.0 × 39.5 × 2.8 mm, the module ensures compatibility with Quectel's EG06/EG12/EG18 series modules, facilitating seamless migration between different LTE categories. The EG060K-NA operates reliably across a wide temperature range from -30°C to +75°C, with extended temperature support from -40°C to +85°C for harsh environments.

The module supports LTE-FDD bands 2, 4, 5, 7, 12, 13, 14, 25, 26, 29, 30, 66, and 71, along with LTE-TDD bands 41 and 48, providing comprehensive coverage for North American carriers including Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile. It features 4×4 MIMO technology on multiple bands for enhanced data throughput and link reliability. An integrated multi-constellation GNSS receiver supporting GPS, GLONASS, BDS, and Galileo enables precise positioning capabilities.

The EG060K-NA offers extensive connectivity through multiple interfaces including dual SIM support, USB 2.0/3.0, three UART ports, PCIe, PCM, SPI, I2C, and optional eSIM functionality. It supports various protocols including QMI, MBIM, HTTPS, FTP, and LwM2M, with comprehensive driver support for Windows 7/8/8.1/10/11, Linux, and Android operating systems. Additional features include VoLTE support for voice communications, DFOTA for firmware updates, and DTMF functionality.

With typical power consumption of 3.7 mA in sleep mode and 11.6 mA in idle mode at 3.8V supply voltage, the module is well-suited for power-sensitive applications such as industrial routers, home gateways, set-top boxes, industrial laptops, rugged tablets, video transmission systems, and digital signage solutions.
