Quectel EG060K-EA

The Quectel EG060K-EA is an LTE-Advanced Cat 6 module optimized for M2M and IoT applications, delivering peak data rates of 300 Mbps downlink and 50 Mbps uplink. Designed in a compact LGA form factor measuring 37.0 × 39.5 × 2.8 mm, this module provides coverage for EMEA, APAC, and Brazil regions with support for LTE-FDD bands 1/3/5/7/8/20/28/32, LTE-TDD bands 38/40/41/42/43, and WCDMA bands 1/3/5/8.

The module operates across a standard temperature range of -30°C to +75°C, with extended temperature capability from -40°C to +85°C. It features an embedded multi-constellation GNSS receiver supporting GPS, GLONASS, BDS, and Galileo for accurate positioning capabilities. The EG060K-EA supports 4×4 MIMO on bands 1/3/7/38/40/41/42 for enhanced data throughput and link reliability.

Key interfaces include dual SIM support (1.8/3.0V), optional eSIM, USB 2.0/3.0 with both master and slave modes, three UART ports, PCIe Gen 2 for Wi-Fi and Ethernet functions, PCM, SPI, I2C, SDIO, and dual ADC channels. The module supports various protocols including QMI, MBIM, NITZ, HTTPS, FTP, LwM2M, and PING, with comprehensive driver support for Windows 7/8/8.1/10/11, Linux, and Android platforms.

Additional features include optional VoLTE support for digital audio and voice over LTE, DTMF, DFOTA for firmware updates over-the-air, and QMI/Rmnet support. The module operates on a supply voltage range of 3.3-4.4V (typical 3.8V) with low power consumption profiles including 12μA in power-off mode and 2.8-3.7 mA in sleep mode. Certifications include CE for Europe and RCM for Australia/New Zealand, with WHQL certification for Windows compatibility.
