Quectel EG060W-EA

The Quectel EG060W-EA is an LTE-A Cat 6 module optimized for M2M and IoT applications, delivering maximum data rates of 300 Mbps downlink and 50 Mbps uplink through 3GPP Release 10 LTE technology. Built in a compact LGA form factor measuring 37.0 × 39.5 × 3.05 mm and weighing 8.2g, this module ensures compatibility with Quectel EG06 series and EG060V-EA modules for flexible product design and upgrades.

The module supports LTE-A carrier aggregation with 2CA capabilities and provides worldwide LTE-A and UMTS/DC-HSPA+ coverage across EMEA, APAC, and Brazil regions. It operates within a temperature range of -20°C to +70°C and features MIMO technology (2×2, 4×2 DL) to meet demanding wireless communication requirements for data rate and link reliability.

EG060W-EA offers comprehensive connectivity through multiple interfaces including USB 2.0/3.0 with master and slave mode support, dual UART, dual PCIe Gen 2 for Wi-Fi, RGMII, SDIO, I2C, SPI, PCM for digital audio, and dual ADC. The module supports Voice over LTE (VoLTE) and includes enhanced features such as FOTA, DTMF, eCall, and (U)SIM detection.

With extensive protocol support including PPP, TCP, UDP, FTP, HTTP, SSL, and others, plus USB drivers for Windows 7-11, Linux 2.6-5.18, and Android 4.x-12.x, the EG060W-EA is ideal for industrial routers, MiFi/CPE devices, home gateways, set-top boxes, rugged tablet PCs, video surveillance systems, and digital signage applications. The module operates on a 3.3-4.3V supply voltage (3.8V typical) with low power consumption profiles including 56 µA in power-off mode, 5.42 mA in sleep mode, and 58.63 mA in idle mode.
