Taoglas TG.09 Penta-band GSM Antenna SMA

The Taoglas TG.09 is a penta-band GSM hinged dipole antenna with SMA male connector, designed for cellular communication systems including AMPS, GSM, DCS, PCS, and UMTS. Operating across frequency ranges from 824-896 MHz, 880-960 MHz, 1710-1880 MHz, 1850-1990 MHz, and 1710-2170 MHz, this antenna features a unique rotatable hinge design that allows users to adjust the antenna angle for optimal signal reception.

The antenna delivers varying performance based on mounting configuration, with free space efficiency ranging from 21% to 32% across bands and free space gain between -1.0 to 2.0 dBi. When mounted on a PCB, efficiency improves significantly in higher frequency bands, reaching up to 78% with gains up to 2.8 dBi. The antenna provides omnidirectional radiation patterns with linear polarization and maintains a 50-ohm impedance.

Built with a top-quality housing featuring a brass hinge and connector, the TG.09 supports 10W power rating and operates reliably in extreme conditions with an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and storage temperature range of -40°C to +105°C. The antenna offers five different locking angles for flexible positioning and performs optimally with ground planes larger than 91mm (1/4 wavelength at 824MHz). Its environmentally hardened casing makes it ideal for vehicle tracking devices and other demanding applications. The product is RoHS compliant.
