Telit FN982M

The Telit FN982M is a 5G/LTE data card that enables next-generation connectivity featuring both sub-6 and mmWave technologies with LTE, WCDMA and GNSS support. Built on the Qualcomm Snapdragon X55 5G Modem-RF System, this industrial-grade M.2 form factor data card is designed for high-performance and bandwidth-intensive enterprise and industrial applications including fixed wireless access, enterprise routers and gateways, indoor and outdoor CPE, and professional broadcasting and surveillance.

The FN982M supports all major sub-6 GHz frequency bands and incorporates the Qualcomm QTM525 mmWave antenna module for near-the-ground, low-power indoor and outdoor applications, as well as the QTM527 mmWave extended-range antenna module for high-mount outdoor applications. It delivers data throughput up to 5.5 Gbps downlink and 1.5 Gbps uplink on 5G networks, with 4G LTE Cat 20 supporting up to 2 Gbps downlink and 211 Mbps uplink.

Key features include support for 5G NSA and SA modes, 4x4 MIMO on multiple bands, state-of-the-art GNSS receiver with dual-frequency GPS for enhanced accuracy, and both PCIe Gen 3 and USB 3.1 Gen 2 interfaces for maximum design flexibility. The compact 30 × 50 × 3.4 mm module operates across an extended temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, making it suitable for demanding industrial environments. With comprehensive global band support and carrier certifications including FCC, PTCRB, GCF, and major operators like AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and Vodafone, the FN982M provides a future-proof solution for worldwide 5G deployments.
