Quectel EG06-E

The Quectel EG06-E is an LTE-A Category 6 LGA module optimized for IoT and M2M applications, delivering peak data rates of 300Mbps downlink and 50Mbps uplink using 3GPP Release 12 LTE technology. This EMEA/Australia/Brazil variant supports LTE-FDD bands B1/B3/B5/B7/B8/B20/B28/B32, LTE-TDD bands B38/B40/B41, and WCDMA bands B1/B3/B5/B8, with 2×CA carrier aggregation capabilities for enhanced performance.

The module features multi-constellation GNSS positioning (GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo, QZSS) using Qualcomm IZat Gen8C Lite technology and includes comprehensive connectivity options with USB 2.0/3.0, UART×3, PCIe, GPIO×2, SPI, I2C, and SD card interfaces. It supports MIMO technology (2×2, 4×2 DL), VoLTE, eCall emergency services, DTMF, and Delta Firmware Over-The-Air (DFOTA) updates.

Operating from a 3.3V to 4.3V supply with ultra-low power consumption (20μA power-off, 1.5mA sleep mode), the module functions across -40°C to +85°C temperature range. The compact 37.0mm × 39.5mm × 2.8mm LGA form factor weighing approximately 6.7g ensures compatibility with future Quectel Cat 12 and Cat 16 modules for seamless migration paths.

With extensive driver support for Windows, Linux, and Android operating systems, plus industry-standard protocols and Quectel Enhanced AT Commands, the EG06-E is ideal for industrial routers, home gateways, set-top boxes, rugged tablets, video surveillance systems, and digital signage applications requiring reliable high-speed LTE connectivity.
