Quectel EC25-AUTL

The Quectel EC25-AUTL is an LTE Cat 4 module optimized for M2M and IoT applications, delivering maximum data rates of 150 Mbps downlink and 50 Mbps uplink using 3GPP Rel-11 LTE technology. This module is designed for the Latin America, Australia, and New Zealand markets, supporting LTE-FDD bands B1/2/3/4/5/7/8/28, LTE-TDD band B40, WCDMA bands B1/2/5/8, and GSM/EDGE bands B2/3/5/8.

Measuring 29.0 × 32.0 × 2.4 mm in a compact LCC package, the EC25-AUTL operates in temperatures from -35°C to +75°C, with extended temperature support from -40°C to +85°C. The module features optional multi-constellation GNSS support including GPS, GLONASS, BDS, Galileo, and QZSS for accurate positioning capabilities.

The EC25-AUTL provides comprehensive connectivity through multiple interfaces including USB 2.0, dual UART, digital audio (PCM), I2C, dual SDIO, SGMII, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. It supports various voice codecs (HR/FR/EFR/AMR/AMR-WB) with echo cancellation and noise suppression, plus optional digital audio and VoLTE functionality.

Enhanced features include DTMF, DFOTA for firmware updates, QMI/RmNet protocols, QuecLocator, QuecFile, SIM card detection, and SMS capabilities. The module operates on a 3.3-4.3V supply (3.8V typical) with low power consumption of 11 μA in power-off mode, 1.3 mA in sleep mode, and 22 mA in idle mode.

The EC25-AUTL comes with comprehensive driver support for Windows 7/8/8.1/10/11, Linux 2.6-6.5, and Android 4.x-13.x, including USB serial, GNSS, RIL, NDIS, MBIM, GobiNet, and QMI_WWAN drivers. It holds certifications from Telstra carrier and regulatory approvals including GCF, FCC, Anatel (Brazil), NCC (Taiwan, China), RCM (Australia/New Zealand), and CE (Europe), along with RoHS and WHQL compliance.
