Sierra Wireless AirPrime HL7549

The Sierra Wireless AirPrime HL7549 is a compact 4G LTE Cat-4 embedded module designed for deployment in Australia, supporting LTE bands B3, B7, and B28. This industrial-grade module delivers peak download speeds of 150Mbps and upload speeds of 50Mbps, making it suitable for high-speed data applications.

Measuring just 22x23x2.5mm, the HL7549 features the CF3 form factor with both LGA solder-down and snap-in socket options for flexible integration. The module operates reliably across an extended temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, ensuring robust performance in demanding environments.

Key connectivity features include one 8-wire UART interface, USB support, 2 ADC channels, 8 GPIO pins, and a 1.8V/3V SIM interface. The module incorporates antenna diversity and MIMO capabilities for enhanced RF performance. It comes with pre-certified firmware, secure boot functionality, and comprehensive driver support for Windows 7/8, Linux (Standard ECM), and Android RIL.

The HL7549 includes digital audio support with HR, FR, EFR, and AMR codecs, along with echo cancellation, noise reduction, and DTMF capabilities. The module is certified with CE and RCM regulatory approvals and is carrier-approved for Telstra networks. It benefits from free unlimited FOTA upgrades powered by AirVantage, with optional device management, application enablement, and connectivity management services available.
