Sierra Wireless AirPrime HL7748

The Sierra Wireless AirPrime HL7748 is a compact 4G LTE Cat-M1 embedded module designed for IoT deployments in the Americas region. Operating on LTE bands B2, B4, and B12, this module delivers peak download speeds of 300 Kbps and upload speeds of 375 Kbps, optimized for low-power, wide-area network applications.

Measuring just 22x23x2.5mm, the HL7748 features the industry's smallest form factor with both LGA solder-down and snap-in socket mounting options for maximum deployment flexibility. The module includes comprehensive connectivity interfaces including an 8-wire UART, USB, 2 ADC channels, 8 GPIO pins, and a 1.8V/3V SIM interface.

Built for industrial applications, the HL7748 operates reliably across an extended temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. The module comes with pre-certified firmware, secure boot capabilities, and is certified by FCC and PTCRB regulatory bodies, with AT&T carrier approval.

Cloud connectivity is enhanced through free unlimited FOTA (Firmware Over-The-Air) upgrades powered by AirVantage, along with optional connectivity management services. The module also supports an optional ready-to-connect Sierra Wireless embedded SIM for simplified deployment. With its common form factor across the HL Series, the HL7748 enables easy migration between different cellular technologies while maintaining pin-to-pin compatibility.
