u-blox LISA-U270

The LISA-U270 is a compact UMTS/HSPA and quad-band GPRS/EDGE module designed for worldwide cellular connectivity with 900/2100 MHz UMTS/HSPA band support. This SMT module delivers high-speed data transmission with HSDPA rates up to 7.2 Mb/s downlink and HSUPA rates up to 5.76 Mb/s uplink, while maintaining quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE coverage at 850/900/1800/1900 MHz.

Featuring an ultra-small footprint of 22.4 x 33.2 x 2.6 mm and weighing less than 7 grams, the LISA-U270 offers exceptional power efficiency with idle mode current as low as 1.5 mA. The module operates across an extended temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, making it suitable for demanding industrial and automotive applications.

The LISA-U270 provides comprehensive connectivity options including UART, SPI, USB 2.0 high-speed (480 Mb/s), up to 14 configurable GPIOs, and dual digital audio interfaces. It supports both 1.8V and 3V SIM cards and includes embedded TCP/UDP, HTTP, FTP, and SSL protocols for secure communications. The module features integrated support for u-blox GNSS products, CellLocate for network-based positioning, jamming detection, and network indication capabilities.

Ideal for mobile internet terminals, tablets, in-car infotainment systems, connected navigation, security and surveillance systems, eCall applications, fleet management, and metering solutions, the LISA-U270 enables simple migration from other u-blox module families. The module is manufactured in ISO/TS 16949 certified production sites and qualified according to ISO 16750 standards for automotive applications, with RoHS compliance ensuring lead-free construction.
