Sierra Wireless EM7355

The Sierra Wireless AirPrime EM7355 is a high-speed LTE embedded wireless module designed for mobile computing devices in North America. This M.2 form factor module delivers LTE connectivity with peak download speeds up to 150 Mbps and upload speeds up to 50 Mbps, while maintaining backward compatibility with HSPA+, CDMA/EV-DO Rev A, and quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE networks.

The EM7355 supports multiple LTE bands (B2, B4, B5, B13, B17, B25), UMTS/HSPA+ bands (B1, B2, B4, B5, B8), CDMA 1xRTT/EV-DO Rev A (BC0, BC1, BC10), and quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE frequencies, providing comprehensive network coverage across major North American carriers including AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint. The module features multi-operator support, allowing end users the flexibility to choose and change network operators with a single device.

Measuring just 42 x 30 x 2.3 mm, the compact M.2 form factor enables integration into smaller, thinner devices such as tablets and ultrathin laptops. The module is optimized for low power consumption to extend battery life and operates within a temperature range of -25°C to +60°C. It includes a USB 2.0 High Speed interface, supports both 1.8V and 3V SIM interfaces, and features main and auxiliary/GNSS antenna connectors with diversity and MIMO support.

The EM7355 incorporates comprehensive location services including Standalone GPS, A-GPS, GPS XTRA, and Glonass. It is certified by FCC, PTCRB, CDG, and NCC regulatory bodies and supports Windows 7, Windows 8, Android, and Linux operating systems. Additional features include dynamic power control, wake on WAN capability, and GOBI API support for device management.
